DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES |
About the role
We are in search of a talented Power BI developer to join our Global IT team. In this role, you will
design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards. Your core mission will be to
analyze business requirements and translate them into effective data visualizations. You will champion
data-driven decision-making and promote data literacy within the organization.
You will collaborate closely with
business stakeholders and other IT teams to
drive successful Power BI implementations. This position is created in the context of an IT transformation, including a move to agile practices.
Responsibilities:
- Power BI Development (40%)
- Develop Power BI reports from start to finish, beginning with data preparation in the source (particularly in Databricks) and culminating with the presentation to the business.
- Maintain the Power BI Ecosystem (10%):
- Ensure that connections for different reports (including gateways and cloud connections) are functioning properly.
- Manage workspaces and apps within the Power BI environment.
- Handle access management and address technical requests related to Power BI.
- Power BI Dictionary Management (10%):
- Maintain a comprehensive dictionary containing information about all reports. This resource should be accessible to the business users.
- Power BI Training and Support (10%):
- Train and assist business users in using Power BI effectively.
- Provide guidance to Data Analysts and Data Scientists during report development.
- Lead Power BI Self-Service Capabilities (30%):
- Gather and translate self-service needs from business stakeholders.

Educational Background
- University degree in a related field is a plus
Experience
- 4 years of experience as a Power BI developer or related
Technical Skills
- Advance knowledge in Power BI
- Intermediate SQL programming knowledge
- Knowledge in Databricks is a plus
- Agile Methodologies: Proficiency in agile methodologies and tools such as Scrum and Kanban.
Soft Skills
- Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa.
- Collaboration: Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
- Multi-tasking: Ability to manage different request in parallel
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION | What you need to know
- Role based either in Spain (Madrid / Barcelona) or Poland (Krakow / Warsaw).
- Able to work remotely several days per week with occasional travel as needed.
- English is a must-have, and an additional (European) language is a plus.
- Work permit allowing work in Spain or Poland.
