Please note this is a remote position, and you can reside anywhere in the United States.
Demonstrate the safe and proper use of PPG coatings to customers in the automotive refinish market by providing training in the field. Contribute to our profitability through marketing, sales support and adding value to our end-use customers. Primary function is to deliver quality training and instruction at field locations (Technical Colleges, Distributor Training Centers, and On-site at customer locations.)
Responsibilities
- Support sales activities in the assigned geographic region to enhance sales growth of PPG products. Help with marketing efforts during regional blitzes, surveys and complaint resolution with customers.
- Work with local BDC Facility Manager, Regional Sales Manager, Territory Mgrs., Commercial sales personnel and PPG Distributors to support growth in assigned area.
- Provide expert technical product and related equipment assistance to jobbers, shops and salespeople. Troubleshoot both product and process improvement opportunities to ensure that end-use customers Improve their Refinish Areas to be as efficient, and profitable as they can be.
- Participate in field trials of all or modified products and related equipment for PPG and competitors.
- Maintain personal knowledge as it relates to the curriculum and market. You will hone training skills base to provide quality training and provide feedback to curriculum developers.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the automotive refinish field including refinish paint systems: PPG, or Nexa Autocolor.
- Must have a valid passport
- Travel responsibility 70% - 80%
