  • This position is Remote POSITION HIGHLIGHTS This position has principal responsibility to assist with the preparation of various monthly financial reports, presentations, and analysis. It will support management with budget and financial planning, coordinate report distribution and record retention schedules, respond to corporate surveys, and support inter-department and regulatory reporting. In addition, this position will be working with Workday report developers on new reports and additional ad hoc reporting, as requested. PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare and distribute monthly financial and operations reports for the Board of Trustees, UW School of Medicine, departmental administrators, and UW Physicians Directors and Managers.
  • Perform historical and predictive financial analysis to support budget and long-term financial planning.
  • Monitor financial performance relative to budget and research variances.
  • Support inter-department and regulatory reporting.
  • Aggregate and calculate information for reimbursement to affiliates and other related party reporting.
  • Complete and submit surveys requested by third parties.
  • Assist with internal/external client requests for financial information, including department reconciliations.
  • Coordinate with Workday reporting developers on relevant requirement gathering, report design, ledger mapping, and testing validation needed to build new financial and management statement reports.
  • Assist the Director of Accounting & Financial Reporting in preparing audit schedules for the annual audit.
  • Perform special projects and other assignment and duties, as requested. REQUIRED
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field; or equivalent combination of experience and at least two years post-secondary education.
