About the Role:

We are seeking for Cloud Infrastructure Engineer who can join our Technology & Services department at Cleura. You will be part of the team working closely with Network and Infrastructure for our Cloud Services.

You will drive improvements across our products and services, ensuring quality, scalability, and reliability. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about infrastructure, problem-solving, and innovation.

You will play a pivotal role in creating infrastructure and services that enable us to move swiftly while delivering a highly reliable platform to our partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical delivery of complex infrastructure projects, from initial planning to implementation.
  • Maintain, scale, and enhance our infrastructure to meet evolving demands.
  • Drive automation efforts, ensuring our systems are designed for flexibility and growth.
  • Support the operations and other teams with prioritization and incident handling.
  • Stay updated on compliance requirements and contribute to maintaining a secure, compliant infrastructure.


Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of Linux Administration and operating system concepts and proficiency with scripting.
  • An understanding of provisioning infrastructure in a cloud environment, infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles, and familiarity with relevant technologies such as Ansible and Terraform.
  • Knowledge of key operations considerations such as reliability, availability, maintainability, capacity planning and security.
  • Problem-solving experience, ideally with open-source tools and solutions.
  • Experience of working in data centers, up to date with hardware technology trends and proficient in OOB tools.
  • Understanding of data center infrastructure and best practices, rack types, PDU's, cable management etc.
  • Independent and team-oriented mindset with a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to design and implement infrastructure solutions, with experience in both small and medium-scale systems.
  • Experience in participating within projects and collaborating with teams cross-functionally.
  • Fluent communication skills in English.


Qualifications:

  • University degree or equivalent work experience in IT, computer science or related fields.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience of working within the areas of responsibilities mentioned above.


Good to have:

  • Experience with some subset of technologies such as Kubernetes, Grafana, ArgoCD, Kibana, Prometheus, Vault, Git/Gitops and also experience with cloud environments such as Openstack.
  • Disaster recovery, identity management, and observability are familiar territory to you.
  • You have worked with Dell, SuperMicro and Cisco equipment.
  • Hands on with Atlassian's software suite such as Jira, Confluence.
  • Knowledge of asset management tools such as Device42, phpipam, netbox.
