Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager and as part of the Quality Assurance team, the Quality Assurance Analyst will evaluate, test, and validate systems services, and/or software which have a high level of customization or are built in-house to ensure they meet defined requirements and standards, including database development testing for both in-house and cloud-hosted systems, Microsoft PowerApps and flows, and enterprise application solutions. The Quality Assurance Analyst will join a team with another quality analyst and be part of building out our QA capacity at OOE IT.
The Quality Assurance Analyst will be a creative, analytic, and innovative individual who is passionate about quality. The Quality Assurance Analyst will need to be comfortable working with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to interpret requirements and prioritize business needs in efforts to provide feedback about quality. We expect candidates who can interpret, organize, and prioritize activities to meet testing and project goals without compromising quality. The successful candidate will be expected to adapt test approaches depending on the context of the project and use lessons learned to improve future performance. The Quality Assurance Analyst will also need to be comfortable in the spotlight and is expected to act in accordance with departmental core values and uphold a high bar for excellence.
Education and Experience:
Minimum requirement is a Bachelors degree plust three (3) year of relevant experience. Or, an equivalent combination of education and experience. This job will be filled as an Advanced Professional level.
OOE IT values customer-focused candidates with excellent written and oral communication, listening, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Candidates should communicate ideas in both specialized and audience appropriate language, be able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment, possess keen attention to detail, think outside of the box, and challenge the status quo.
Strong foundational knowledge in SQL and quality assurance standards and practices is required. Experience with test automation and cloud-based data services is preferred. Proven experience in the use of Agile methodologies is desirable.
OOE IT values strong communicators, collaborators and client focused individuals. We also look for individuals with the ability to persevere, to find the best solution and prove adaptable and accountable. This is an intermediate level position, where qualified candidates will typically be able to draw from previous experience to demonstrate competency in the required skills. For this new team member, OOE IT will provide an appropriate onboarding period, along with check-ins with peers and supervisors to address any needs or concerns, and an open door to the Executive Director, ensuring your success.

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades is:
$61,800.00 - $89,600.00
