The Opportunity:
As a Commercial Insurance Sales Professional at VIU by HUB, you’ll have the opportunity to promote HUB’s comprehensive suite of commercial insurance products, including coverage for small to mid-sized businesses, property, general liability, workers' compensation, and more. You’ll work with a variety of top-rated carriers and use state-of-the-art tools to provide your clients with expert advice and customized solutions tailored to their business needs. You will play a key role in growing HUB's commercial book of business by identifying opportunities, securing new clients, and building lasting relationships.

What You Bring to the Table:
The ideal candidate for this role has a strong background in commercial insurance sales and a passion for providing businesses with the right coverage to protect their assets. Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of commercial insurance sales experience, with a proven track record of success in securing new business and managing client relationships.
  • Licensing: Valid Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance license required.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of commercial insurance lines, including but not limited to property, general liability, workers' compensation, and business auto coverage.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
  • Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, internal teams, and insurance carriers.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with CRM systems and insurance quoting platforms.
  • Self-Starter: Ability to work independently and manage a full sales pipeline, from lead generation to closing.
  • Customer-Centric: A passion for helping businesses protect their operations, assets, and employees with the right insurance solutions.
