About the Team/Role

We are seeking a dedicated Partner Development Manager to join our dynamic WEX Benefits Sales Solutions team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maximizing revenue potential by collaborating with the Sales Solutions, Account Executive, Sales, Marketing, Product and Service teams. Your primary responsibilities will focus on providing through-channel support in the form of sales enablement consultation, pre-sales support, and go-to-market strategies.

 

This is an individual contributor role and is ideal for a professional who is passionate about empowering channel partners and winning through collaborative efforts.

How you'll make an impacts

  • Understand details of the unique business challenges and requirements for each of the WEX Benefits target markets (Direct, Referral, Partner) and solutions (Ben Admin, CDH, COBRA).

  • Coordinate with Product, Marketing, Account Executive and Sales teams to design and deliver sales enablement tools and demo solutions that are aligned with the current and upcoming product offerings.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor products, and new features to continuously refine and enhance demo solutions, messaging, and training materials.

  • Consult through-channel stakeholders on the delivery, maintenance and utilization of sales tools and resources including demo solutions, scripts, messaging, apps, social media or intranet resources which will help them effectively engage customers and close deals. 

  • Proficiency in pre-sales processes, including effectively demonstrating the value of technical features, solutioning, and the ability to pivot during presentations to address customer inquiries and objections.

  • Answer product-related questions and provide best practice recommendations regarding functionality, implementation, deployment and customization. 

  • Work collaboratively with the Account Executives and partners to create go-to-market plans that outline target markets, distribution channels, and marketing tactics to enable new client acquisition. 

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of partner and prospect relationships to ensure satisfaction with the final solution.

  • Attend trade shows, partner conference sessions, etc. and present content or perform product demonstrations. 

  • Travel up to 30%

Experience you'll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent education and experience in training and customer-facing/consulting experience in the benefits industry

  • Comprehensive understanding of benefit administration sales process

  • Comprehensive understanding of spending account administration, and WEX Benefits products and services

  • Highly developed communication skills, especially the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Experience in delivering presentations to small and large audiences

  • Ability to build relationships and take responsibility for internal as well as external customer satisfaction and loyalty

The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan. Pay Range: $68,000.00 - $90,000.00
