Your Job

As a Product Design engineer on this team, you will support the seamless transition of our products to the production facility and execute design of product extensions. This position requires a proactive and independent professional who can take ownership of tasks and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, marketing, and quality.

What You Will Do2. Process Optimization:3. Documentation and Training:

  • Production Support:
  • Collaborate with design center over design in production state. Evaluate request to changes, update and maintain engineering documentation.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to the production team during the assembly.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production-related issues remotely, ensuring minimal disruption to the manufacturing process.
  • Work with manufacturing engineering with processes and identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
  • Collaborate with the design team to implement design changes that enhance manufacturability without compromising product integrity.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for production processes, ensuring clarity and consistency.
  • Provide training and guidance to production staff on new processes, techniques, and product specifications.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Collaborate with the quality control team to establish and maintain high-quality standards throughout the production process.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with quality requirements and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the design team to understand product specifications and design intent.
  • Engage with other departments, such as manufacturing and quality, to facilitate a smooth production workflow.


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of modern connector assemblies and related manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues.
    • Experience in Failure Analysis and Root Cause Analysis techniques (not limited to)
    • 8-D
    • 5-Why
  • Proficient in relevant engineering software tools for documentation.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with remote teams and convey technical information clearly and concisely.
  • Good English communication skills: Verbal & Written
  • Willingness to work as an integral part of a global team.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Prior production or manufacturing experience
  • Proficiency with Siemens NX and TeamCenter engineering CAD software
  • Knowledge of ASME Y14.5 Dimensioning and Tolerance
  • Exposure to SixSigma or LEAN manufacturing processes
