Job Description

Lead the project team by setting key guidelines, allocating tasks, and motivating and overseeing both internal and external resources to ensure all tasks and milestones are met.
Provide performance feedback on allocated resources working on projects. Define, alongside the Project Controls department, all project plan documents, including scope, financial plans, schedule, and risk management strategies.
Ensure that the project adheres to execution best practices and established policies. Monitor and control project progress and utilize resources efficiently.
Oversee project financials, managing invoicing, costs, expenses, and cash flow. Identify, assess, and manage project risks, ensuring that all opportunities are captured and pursued. Document and share lessons learned throughout the project. Ensure formal project close-out and customer acceptance as contractually agreed.
Consistently apply contract and claims management in line with policy and contractual agreements.
Coordinate with supply chain management to successfully procure necessary services, materials, and equipment from both internal and external suppliers.
Support supply chain management in supplier negotiations, claims, and project adjustments. Conduct risk and opportunity assessments and ensure action plans are implemented within areas of responsibility. Address contract, quality, program, or cost-related issues proactively.
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and communicate effectively throughout the project. Ensure compliance with company health, safety, and environmental standards.

The Successful Applicant

- Bachelor's degree or higher, with a focus in power engineering preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in the Electrical Power Engineering industry.
- Experience in leading 5-10 million USD substation projects, including project management responsibilities.
- Experience with service level agreements in wind farms (onshore or offshore).
- Strong communication skills in English, especially in project management contexts.
- Clear and systematic thinking, with the ability to handle customer interactions effectively.
- Proactive in learning and demonstrating strong leadership skills.
- Domestic travel required.
- Fluent in English, with proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing for project management.
- PMP Certification is a must.
