    What will YOU be doing for us?  Responsible for overseeing the organization's technology infrastructure and ensuring efficiency and scalability.  .Develop strategic plans for infrastructure improvements and ensuring the network structure, hardware, and software provided is meeting organizational needs now and in the future.  Act as primary contact in proactively ensuring network and infrastructure security

    What will YOU be working on every day?

    • Oversee all network-related activities and projects including evaluating, designing, and administering advanced LAN/WAN networks with multiple data centers

      • Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, storage systems, and other hardware and software components.

      • Work in conjunction with other IT departments to securely plan, deploy, design, and troubleshoot issues and implement new functions.

      • Work with appropriate leadership to proactively analyze client and industry needs to ensure network structure, hardware, and software meets organizational needs.

      • Monitor and evaluate computing resource utilization.

      • Establish project estimates and timelines and monitor for status, potential areas of concern, and proactive solutions to ensure expectations are met.

    • Collaborate with Chief Technology Officer on different strategic initiatives to better align the departments for meeting organizational goals and objectives.

      • Define infrastructure strategies and innovative technology roadmaps.

    • Cloud Strategy & Architecture: Design and execute a cloud strategy that aligns with the company’s goals, whether it's leveraging public, private, or hybrid cloud models

      • Define DevSecOps enabled Cloud driven Infrastructure

      • Oversee the migration of existing applications and services to the cloud while ensuring seamless integration with on-premises systems

      • Optimize cloud expenses by monitoring usage and implementing cost-saving measures.

      • Continuously monitor cloud performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain high availability and reliability.

      • Ensure all cloud operations comply with industry standards and regulations. This involves setting up security measures to protect data and applications.

    • Co-lead the company’s DR/BC plan with a focus on technology and infrastructure

      • When outages occur effectively coordinate resources to restore business functionality as soon as possible, while also managing communication to appropriate parties.

      • Implement and execute robust disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in case of a cloud service outage.

    • Negotiate and manage contracts with third-party vendors, ensuring they deliver high-quality products and services that meet the company’s needs.

      • Work with vendors on system design upgrades, review new technologies and active involvement with Information Security and Disaster recovery testing.

      • Manage relationships with cloud service providers like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. This includes negotiating contracts and ensuring the services meet the company's needs

      • Oversee all data center servicing contracts

      • Oversee integration of third party security systems with company infrastructure

    • Lead the IT infrastructure team and foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

    • Innovation & Trends: Keeping up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends, and recommending new solutions that could benefit the company

    • Work in conjunction with Human Resources to evaluate viable candidates under consideration for hire.

    • Develop, and motivate staff.  Initiate and communicate a variety of personnel actions including employment, termination, performance reviews, salary reviews, disciplinary actions, and development plans.  Provide regular and behaviorally specific feedback to increase performance levels.

    • Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and implement appropriate solutions to maintain organizational competitiveness.

    • Act as an expert in the area of Network Administration by providing assistance to those completing Requests for Proposals (RFP’s) and assisting in complex network administration.

    • Foster an environment that focuses on ensuring integrity, respect, accountability, and superior service.

    What qualifications do YOU need to have to be GOOD candidate?

    • Required Level of Education, Licenses, and/or Certificates

      • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent years of internal experience.

    • Required Level of Experience

      • 7 - 10 years of experience in information technology and network administration

      • 5 - 7 years of management experience  in managing a software development team

    • Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

      • Advanced knowledge of network design (including multiple VLAN’s, Network Address Translation (NAT), and WAN routing).

      • Advanced knowledge of network security techniques, including firewall configuration techniques and implementation of network ACL’s.

      • Successfully led and executed the migration of large-scale monolithic systems to a microservices architecture, ensuring minimal downtime and enhanced performance. Spearheaded the transition of enterprise applications, including Microsoft Office, to cloud platforms, resulting in increased scalability, security, and cost efficiency. Demonstrated proficiency in orchestrating cross-functional teams and managing vendor relationships to deliver seamless cloud adoption.

      • Ability to work effectively with a variety of individuals and communication styles.

      • Strong problem solving skills.

      • Knowledge and proficiency in various technical areas:

        • Migrating large scale applications to the cloud

        • Multi-discipline background with strong knowledge in one and spanning two or more of the following: development, operations, systems, virtualization, cloud, networking, security, IaaS or PaaS.

        • Experience managing a production-grade Kubernetes-based container solution

        • Experience managing and leveraging cloud native infrastructure tools

      • Ability to manage multiple priorities and remain organized with multiple interruptions.

      • Ability to successfully lead teams.

      • Demonstrated skill in utilizing data to drive decisions and behaviors.

    The salary range and midpoint is listed below for your reference. Please keep in mind that your education and experience along with your knowledge, skills and abilities are taken into consideration when determining placement within the range.

    Compensation Range:

    $151,942.00 - $227,914.00

    Compensation Midpoint:

    $189,928.00
