Our Team : Oracle GoldenGate Foundation Suite
Oracle GoldenGate (OGG) is a comprehensive software package for real-time data integration and replication in heterogeneous IT environments. Oracle GoldenGate Foundation Suite (OGFS) is a set of advanced management tools for managing GoldenGate lifecycle in an enterprise. Oracle GoldenGate premium management tools comprises of set of products that configure, monitor and validate the GoldenGate replications.

Your Responsibilities
You will maintain and enhance configuring, monitoring and validation solutions in the above products, build cloud integration and move these products into Oracle Cloud.
You will also maintain GoldenGate Orchestration Service (GGOS) software stack, and enhance it to support interfacing with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL and more databases. Your initial focus will be on REST API and Service layer support of MongoDB migration, which can be invoked by Oracle SQL Developer extension or other similar products in Oracle. You will also work on enhancing GGOS to support heterogeneous database replications.
You will work closely with QA team, Customer Support team, product managers, and other developers to fix bugs, create solutions, and design specifications. Some of your work will be independently driven, but you will work on a globally-dispersed team, and collaborating with individuals from other teams working on GoldenGate related products.
Required Qualifications:
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related fields
- 5+ years of software engineering or related experience.
- Familiar with version control and branching techniques in GIT
- Strong analytical, programming and debugging skills in Java
- Analyse, design, develop, and implement RESTful services and APIs
- Strong working knowledge in Unix/Windows Operating system
- Ability to develop and automate tasks using Shell, Bash or Python scripts
- Experiences with build automation tools such as Maven and Gradle
- Experiences in SQL, JDBC, and MongoDB
- Basic knowledge in Networking (Socket, TCP/IP and UDP, etc)
- Good knowledge of unit testing frameworks such as Junit, TestNG, TestIQ, Jasmine etc
- Experience in developing multithreaded applications
- Ability to work in geographically distributed team across multiple time zones
Preferred Qualifications
- Experiences in JMX/RMI, Hibernate, EclipseLink, Servlet/JSP, Spring and micro-services.
- Experiences in Javascript framework such as ReactJS, NodeJS, AngularJS, or Oracle JET
- Experience in Oracle RDBMS, PostgreSQL, MySQL, BigQuery, Redshift, and Databricks
- Experience with Hudson/Jenkins (pipeline and CICD)
- Experiences in JSON and XML (parsing, generation, and schema manipulation)
- Experiences in Cloud infrastructure and service development
- Docker development and image creation

Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.
