Channel Sales Manager

Team: Partnerships

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + OTE + Shares

The role

As Channel Sales Manager you will play a crucial role in identifying, closing, and nurturing new revenue-generating relationships with potential partners. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to convert connections into productive and profitable relationships and meet revenue targets. Target partners will typically be located in Europe and the US and will require human-generated data to enhance their proposition and provide them with competitive differentiation. They will primarily be focused on B2B research (including market research, user research and testing, academic research, and behavioral insights) and AI (including specialised AI developers and AI application developers).

 

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Excellent internal and external communication skills and demonstrable ability to build and nurture cross-functional relationships within target partners  
    • These will include leadership, product, technology and commercial teams
  • Extensive experience in value-based selling or partner sales, and a proven track record of successfully closing and growing revenue-generating partnerships
  • An ability to create and implement partner and sales strategies
  • You will lead end-to-end partner/sales engagements from initial outreach through to commercial negotiations, and contract closure
  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a cross-functional team
  • A knowledge of human data platforms/panels/crowd-sourcing is optional but would be a big bonus
  • This is an IC role with no direct reports and would suit someone looking for a mid-level role

Nice to have 

  • A solid knowledge of the B2B research space and a good understanding of how high-quality human data contributes to this

 

    What you’ll be doing in the role 

  • Identifying high-value potential partners aligned with our partnering strategy
  • Build and execute sales and partner outreach campaigns collaboratively with our Marketing team
  • Creating business plans, proposals and presentations, business plans and other sales material required
  • Closing partnerships - negotiating commercial terms and closing agreements
  • Educating partners on Prolific and our proposition to ensure we maximise our share of spend
  • Developing innovative new methods of co-operation and collaboration with partners
  • You will become an advocate and key subject matter expert on revenue generating partners within Prolific
  • Monitor market trends, competitors and customer needs and communicate them effectively to internal teams and stakeholders
  • Represent Prolific at partner focused events and conferences
