Role Summary:
We are looking for a Services (Product) Marketing Manager to join our growing marketing team. As the Services Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for driving the marketing strategy and execution for our portfolio of services offerings. You will lead aspects of services marketing focused on educating, inspiring, and empowering Splunk users to leverage Splunk Services to aid customer adoption and value realization. You will be a key partner in driving customer success, driving strategic initiatives to ensure our services resonate with customers and are utilized successfully. You will be working closely with other marketing functions including adoption & renewal teams, product marketing teams to align services messaging to customer journey and product adoption. Your efforts will raise Splunk’s reputation and extend reach across our customer base, and broader industry, to support Splunk’s commitment to world-class customer success via marketing campaigns and industry events’ participation. This is a high-impact role where you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring our customers continue to realize the full value of Splunk’s products utilizing services offerings, ultimately supporting our mission to deliver world-class experience for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of various services offerings i.e. outcome based services, on-demand services, trusted advisory services etc. & expertise in marketing services in a B2B environment, with a strong focus on customer success. Looking for a big ideas and results-oriented person with an understanding of data-driven marketing and have past work experience in B2B/enterprise software/SaaS companies.

What You'll Get To Do
Executes strategy for marketing campaigns on behalf of Splunk’s Customer Success Marketing function to help customers, at all stages, be successful with our products and services
Plan, coordinate, and execute industry events and marketing campaigns to raise our reputation and extend reach across our customer base, and broader industry, to support Splunk’s commitment to world-class customer success
Identify key personas and audience segmentation based on customer insights and analytics aligned to campaign strategy goals
Partner with various product team leaders and SMEs from Security, and Observability in creating services GTM plans and content aligning to personas, customer segments and use cases. Work closely to integrate services messaging and positioning into product campaigns
Support value messaging and positioning for the services portfolio, launch new offerings and create integrated, customer-focused campaigns that reinforce the value of Splunk Services and/or guide customers to consume services (e.g. subscription services)
Communicate and coordinate with key business stakeholders to prioritize initiatives, manage against key deadlines and review content and attribution to business and customer impact
Create new digital and/or in-person touchpoints that enable customers to increasingly self-serve with Splunk, and engage with peers via the Splunk Community and other forums. Work with 3rd parties and agencies to facilitate other aspects of content creation
Report on results, in partnership with Marketing Ops, to understand audience reach, engagement and attribution to customer/business impact
Must-have Qualifications
12+ years of experience in Product Marketing and/or Services Marketing, Customer Success or post-sale marketing functions, preferably at a software company. Knowledge of Splunk technologies is a plus.
Strategic thinker who also can take on ownership to get stuff done. Demonstrated experience building end-to-end campaigns.
Amazing written and oral communications skills including ability to craft differentiated positioning and messaging, develop customer facing content, build effective sales enablement content, and deliver compelling presentations.
Ability to work in a rapidly changing and dynamic environment, meet deadlines, brings a versatile skill set and have a bias for action
Consistent cross-functional collaborator, and business partner, directly contributing to achieve overall objectives
Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, and innovative high-growth environment
Bachelor of Science or BA degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline; MBA preferred.

Base Pay Ranges
For sales roles the ranges are expressed as On Target Earning or OTE (OTE = base + incentives in the form of sales incentive plans).
SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area
On Target Earnings: $160,000.00 - 220,000.00 per year
California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), New York (excludes NYC Metro Area), and all other states.
On Target Earnings: $144,000.00 - 198,000.00 per year
All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.
On Target Earnings: $129,600.00 - 178,200.00 per year
Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the On Target Earnings (OTE) range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the OTE pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to OTE, this role may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
