Job description

About the Role

As a Project Manager, you will be reporting to the Australian-based Head of Owned Media and Head of Digital. You will be overseeing and coordinating the successful execution of multiple digital marketing projects. This role demands a keen understanding of e-commerce brands and their unique needs. You will be supporting both the paid ads team and the email marketing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Scope and Planning: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Develop detailed project/sprint plans, schedules, estimates, resource plans, and status reports by balancing business needs with technical constraints.
  • Client Communication: Act as the primary and/or secondary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. Run detailed scoping sessions with internal teams to identify project deliverables and create project-specific documentation such as functional and technical specifications. 
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring all projects are delivered within financial constraints. 
  • Agile Methodology: Apply Agile delivery models and methodology frameworks to ensure efficient and effective project execution. Deliver requirements by understanding and balancing competing demands for program scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality. 
  • Performance Reporting: Provide regular project performance reports to senior management.

Position Prerequisites

  • At least 3 years of experience in project management, with proven experience in project delivery for complex or enterprise-sized projects.
  • Proven experience using Asana for project management is required 
  • Experience working in an agency environment would be beneficial
  • Experience managing and overseeing time-tracking tools and setting these up is advantageous.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Ability to manage and engage stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external, across client and internal business functions to deliver against defined objectives. 
  • Ability to work effectively within a high-performing team. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to tailor communication methods to the intended audience. 
  • Understanding of the commercial elements of projects. 
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proactive, can work on own initiative and as part of a team.
