The Department
The EV Volumes team shares a passion for Electric Vehicles (EVs) and their ability to make life easier and more sustainable. We focus on the plug-in vehicle sales development and its drivers: products, prices, batteries, charging infrastructure, regulations and incentives. The data originates from a myriad of sources in over 130 markets and an engaged network of EV enthusiasts. Our global consolidation on EV-volumes.com is where our data collections are presented in a regular and consistent manner. Our online Data Centre provides complete databases for car sales statistics, vehicle population, charging infrastructure, plug-in vehicle specifications and buying incentives, as well as detailed statistics for installed battery capacity, an important help in planning for materials and the reuse of EV batteries.
The Role
Our EV Volumes Content team is responsible for the research, procurement, collection, analysis and presentation of our EV data and the updates to our vast databases. The Data Editor supports the ongoing collection and maintenance of relevant global EV data using our proprietary systems and databases. The Data Editor works closely with the Data Managers and Analysts to support necessary activities to deliver the data used by our customers. For them to use to make well-informed decisions. You will have the opportunity to take your first steps towards the EVs and learn a lot in this fast-growing industry.
The Candidate
We are looking for someone who will transform vehicle registration and specification data into a consistent format, capturing it within our databases in a timely manner to meet publication deadlines and you will conduct market research and analysis on EV-related topics, such as vehicle specifications, registration data and charging infrastructure. We are looking for someone with the ability to transform and handle large amounts of data. You will verify the accuracy of the reports that we receive from our sources and correct data as required and will support the documentation and improvement of content processes at EV Volumes. You are a self-starter with an enquiring mind, a logical and critical thinker, objective, data-driven, neutral and independent view of EVs. You are fluent in the English language and have excellent organisational and time-management skills, ability to prioritise and meet strict deadlines.
