What You Will Do:
- Collaborate cross-functionally with business stakeholders, data scientists, and software engineers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Communicate technical concepts and model capabilities to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
- Develop and maintain production-grade code for data systems and products.
- Build and optimize data models and systems.
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets to support decision making.
- Stay up to date with developments in data engineering, Business Intelligence, AI, and ML.
What You Will Need:
- US Citizenship is required
- Bachelor's degree is required
- Minimum ONE (1) year of experience as a data analyst or in a similar role
- Excellent programming skills in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or other relevant frameworks.
- Proficiency in numeric computing Python libraries such as NumPy, Pandas/Polars, Streamlit, and Scikit-learn.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
- Experience in building and deploying production-grade data systems or products.
- Familiarity with statistical concepts and methods, such as regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and time series analysis.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven track record of delivering impactful data-driven projects or products.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
- Familiarity with financial data sources, regulations, and industry-specific use cases such as fraud, know-your-customer, forecasting, credit risk management, pricing and revenue optimization, Fair Lending, and/or ESG among others.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Experience in working with unstructured data sources (e.g., text, images, audio).
- Understanding of machine learning and deep learning techniques.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Plotly).
- Familiarity with agile software development methodologies.
- Technical/product management and software experience.
The annual salary range for this position is $94,900.00-$142,300.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
