Job description

Our esteemed client is looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to provide exceptional support to their community. In this role, you will handle customer inquiries via email and chat, ensuring timely and effective resolutions while maintaining accurate records. You will collaborate with internal teams to enhance the overall customer experience and support families navigating autism-related challenges.

Salary: $1000 Per Month

Type of Work: Full Time (REMOTE)

Work Schedule: Primarily 10 AM - 7 PM SAST (9 AM - 6 PM UK time), with a potential adjustment to 12 PM SAST (11 AM UK time) after 3 months.

8 hour rotational shifts covering 24/7, including weekends and holidays.

Post-Probation: Shifts adjust to 1 PM - 9 PM UK time (3 PM - 11 PM SAST (GMT) and 2pm - 10PM SAST (BST) ).

Expect to work a 4-hour weekend shift one or two Saturdays per month, with a half-day off on a weekday in exchange.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, using Hubstaff for time tracking.

Team meetings are typically scheduled around 9-10 AM UK time, requiring some overlap with US time zones.

Requirements

    • In depth background in a remote set-up of work similar to freelancing as an Independent Contractor (deep understanding on the pros & cons involved in this industry).
    • A qualification in Psychology, Nursing, Social Work, or a related field is preferred, as this background provides a foundation for understanding the unique needs of neurodiverse individuals.
    • Experience or knowledge in working with autistic individuals or people with neurodiversity, or experience in a medical or healthcare setting, is essential. Familiarity with autism spectrum disorders and an understanding of the sensitivities and nuances of supporting neurodiverse clients is a key aspect of this role.
    • 2-3 years in customer service, particularly in email or chat support.
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to resolve customer issues quickly and professionally.
    • Strong understanding of the importance of timely and professional communication, with the ability to provide clear and concise responses.
    • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing your time and multitasking.
    • Open to working varied schedules, including weekends and holidays, to meet customer needs.
    • Access to a quiet home workspace for uninterrupted work.
    • A reliable computer with at least an i5 or i7 CPU, a webcam, and necessary software. A strong internet connection is crucial; backup options are a bonus.
    • Familiarity with customer service best practices, industry developments, and relevant technologies, or a strong desire to learn.
    • Familiarity with Hubstaff as a time tracker is preferred, as we use it to manage productivity and accountability.
