Description

Avenue Two Travel is looking for passionate Travel Advisors to join our Affiliate Sales Team. We are a long-term member of Virtuoso, located in the heart of Philadelphia, PA.  This is a remote position and is not limited to residents of PA.

To be a successful Affiliate (independent contractor) Travel Advisor, you should have an entrepreneurial spirit, and be a self-motivated, detail-oriented, travel-passionate individual.  Experience in selling and servicing upscale leisure travel is great, but not required.  An established network of existing or potential clients is a very big plus and indicator of future success.  This is a commission-based position only.

  • Although our advisors can be located anywhere in the world, our advisors need to have a US address and bank account in order to be a part of Avenue Two Travel.

Requirements

The Travel Advisor position involves the following qualities, duties and responsibilities:

  • Ability to identify, solicit, engage and qualify customers
  • Ability to apply a collaborative sales process to determine clients' needs and the objectives of each proposed trip
  • Ability to make strong recommendations based on knowledge and expertise
  • Plan full day-by-day logistics for clients as well as the creation of full itineraries with descriptions of each place to be visited
  • Provide superb customer service to all clients
  • Follow-up with clients after each trip to gain customer feedback
  • Create and maintain client data and information within ClientBase
  • Design, develop and implement marketing strategies to gain new clients while increasing existing client business
Salary Description
This is a commission based position.
