We are currently looking for an amibitious Key Account Manager to drive the expansion of our business within the Industry segment. This position offers a remote working opportunity and primarily covers Germany, with a focus on its northern part. Thus, we are looking for someone who is based in North-Germany or open to move within the country to this area.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote Johnson Electric’s product portfolio of electro-mechanical products within the assigned territory, providing local expertise and aligning customer needs with our strategy.

  • Manage the existing sales portfolio and explore new opportunities to maximize profitable revenue.

  • Drive customer satisfaction to the highest degree, considering business circumstances, and develop long-term alliances.

  • Understand technical specifications, feasibility analysis, project/application cost analysis, project time planning, sampling, validation plans, and quality issues to support customers’ growth plans.

  • Represent customer needs internally and ensure that the business unit’s development matches customer requirements. Support the Business Unit in finding the most appropriate solutions (technology, functionality, commercial aspects) by understanding the customer’s application and critical elements, competition, and our portfolio.

  • Manage budgeting, re-pricing, and forecasting.

  • Monitor competitors and conduct market research to assign priorities and win new business with our customers.

  • Ensure the structured development and sales process is followed, and maintain sales tools (such as Salesforce) for opportunity and budget/revenue tracking.

  • Manage or coordinate key sales tasks, including sales contracts, supplemental agreements, quality and logistics topics, and other documentation.

Your profile and experience:

  • Degree in Engineering, with a Mechanical, Electromechanical, Electrical or similar background.

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role with international experience and network in Germany.

  • Proven technical knowledge of electro-mechanical products (such as actuators, electric motors, switches, solenoids or similar)

  • Fluent German AND fluent English skills

  • Highly self-organized, motivated, resilient personality

  • Communicative and energetic team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with people in different functions, especially communicating with technical experts

  • Ability to work with and influence customers at a senior level.

  • Demonstrate a hands-on mentality, take initiative, and act swiftly

  • Openness to regular travelling (40-60%)
