The role is part of Biopharma Technical Development and will be based in Slovenia. Our aspiration is to be innovative in applying science to develop formulations, technologies and processes that will enable production of high quality biosimilar drug products. We are looking for experienced, curious, inspiring Senior Scientist Pharmaceuticals Development Biosimilars (d/f/m).
Your key responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Drug product development according to assigned project workpackages and in alignment with project strategy, objectives and timelines.
- Formulation and process development of biosimilar drug products including manufacturing process transfer to external and internal manufacturing sites.
- Interpret results, evaluate data and draw relevant conclusions, lead project-related scientific activities and challenge conclusions.
- Write and/or review key documents and reports, e.g. source & registration documents.
- Report risks and issues in a timely manner to the project lead and/or to any other relevant team member or line unit, and develop solutions and mitigation plans/scenarios for specific issues within the team members.
- Cooperation in the selection of cutting-edge technologies & equipment and contribution at site selection by providing the high level technical fit assessment as needed before the site selection.
- Ensuring compliance of activities with standards in the field of quality (GMP), in the field of ensuring health and safety at work and other Sandoz standards.
What you will bring to the role:
- Advanced degree (desirable PhD) biotechnology, pharmaceutical technology, chemical engineering or other relevant discipline.
- At least 3 years experience of Formulation and/or Process development of Biosimilar drug product.
- Fluency in oral and written English.
