At Your Money Line, we are on a mission to create financial confidence and stability for all by providing AI-powered software and empathetic human coaching. As a leading financial wellness benefit, we empower households across the nation from teachers to nurses and beyond-with personalized financial guidance. Founded by Peter Dunn (aka Pete the Planner) and backed by prominent investors, Your Money Line offers a fun, fast-paced, and mission-driven startup culture.

Description

We are looking for a motivated and passionate intern to support our Financial Guide (FG) team. In this junior role, you’ll gain hands-on experience in financial coaching, develop your financial expertise, and contribute to meaningful content creation while assisting participants with their financial wellness journeys. FG interns will report to long-term team members but will be able to work directly with senior members of the team weekly.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with Content Creation:
    • Create educational materials such as articles, flyers, and webinars. You will gain exposure to various financial topics while supporting higher-level team members by taking on content-related tasks.
  • Triage Support:
    • During periods of high volume, assist by collecting preliminary participant information, entering data into Salesforce, and providing initial responses to basic inquiries.
  • First-Line Participant Support:
    • Respond to live chats, texts, and phone calls. If the inquiry is straightforward, address it directly. For more complex situations, perform an intake and assign the case to the appropriate Financial Guide.
  • Introductory Calls:
    • Conduct initial “Intro to Your Money Line” calls with participants, helping them understand our services and directing them to the right resources or team members.
  • Shadowing Opportunities:
    • As time permits, shadow senior Financial Guides in participant sessions to build practical knowledge and skills and learn firsthand how to approach financial counseling and support for individuals and families.

  • Comfortable with technology and quickly learning new systems (Salesforce experience a plus)
  • Minimum 10 hours per week

Internship Success Criteria

  • Positive feedback from participants and team members on interactions
  • Completion of designated content creation assignments with minimal supervision
  • Ability to handle basic triage and intake tasks independently by the end of the internship
  • Demonstrated growth in financial knowledge and ability to contribute to participant discussions

Perks
