Nutreco has two business lines: Skretting is a leading global provider of innovative aquafeed solutions, revolutionizing aquaculture for a sustainable future. Trouw Nutrition specializes in animal nutrition and is committed to advancing livestock health and productivity through cutting-edge solutions. We are seeking an experienced Finance Operations Controller for our Finance and Operations Teams to be responsible for managing the operational excellence by streamlining production and supply chain expenses and Capital expenditures across Europe and Central Asia. This role is crucial to shape operational excellence playing a vital role in advancing our strategic goals.

About The Role: Proficiency in Financial Analysis / Operations Controlling

  • Responsibilities:

  • Promote and implement standardized processes, establish key operational benchmarks, and exercise control over capital expenditures to enhance manufacturing efficiency, network optimization, and financial management.

  • Consistently seek valuable data sources and create a comprehensive pool of internal and external data for deeper insights; analyze and interpret the data to derive essential management information and market trends.

  • Enhance problem analysis by improving relevance, quality, and insights according to evolving business requirements.

  • Provide financial analysis support for manufacturing footprint, including aiding CapEx analysis, and ensure precise reporting and dashboard development for the finance and operations directors.

  • Develop innovative approaches to extract business insights from analytical processes and translate these findings into relevant insights that drive informed decision-making across the organization.

  • Assist in the planning and control cycle, encompassing 3-year development plans, annual budgets, and actual results reporting, and actively contribute to the financial review process by conducting thorough analysis, comparing current performance to plans and prior years.
     

Skills and Expertise

  • Qualifications:

    • A bachelor's degree in economics, business or a related field.

    • A minimum of 5-year experience in multiple-sites F&A.

    • Advance technical skills in Excel and related technologies.

    • Experience in M3 ERP software (will be considering a plus)

    • Fluency in English and effectively communicating and networking with business and stakeholders.

    • Soft skills like analytical strength, collaboration, adaptability, good communication ability and an energetic proactive approach to problem solving.
