How you can make a difference
The People Business Partner is responsible for supporting our organizational goals by ensuring your business units are aligned to the strategic pillars. You will be establishing strong client relationships and aligning HR strategies with the objectives of your assigned business units. You are expected to provide HR expertise and support while working closely with leaders and team members to enhance the organization's talent and culture.
Reporting Structure and Work Setting:
The People Business Partner reports to a Director, People Business Partner
This role typically performs remote.
What you’ll be doing
• Build strong partnerships with business unit leaders to understand their goals and challenges.
• Meet with team members across the organization on employee relations issues, development, and retention.
• Perform high volume, routine HR tasks to support the business with performance management and employee relations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support talent acquisition, performance management, and team member development efforts.
• Support COEs by providing valuable insight, feedback and communication strategies to support People Team initiatives and programs.
• Provide guidance and coaching to leaders and employees on HR policies, strategies and best practices to meet organizational goals
• Contribute to HR projects related to organizational development, culture enhancement, and change management .
• Conduct exit interviews, analyze data and provide insights and HR strategies to enhance retention.
• Monitor key People metrics and trends to provide insights and recommendations to leaders.
• Champion our Purple culture by helping leaders drive engagement and open communication within their teams.
• Determine development gaps within the business units and provide adhoc training as needed
• Conduct targeted pulse checks and feedback sessions within business units
• Additional hours may be needed to support increased workload during peak season
• Other duties as assigned.
What you will need to be successful
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field or equivalent combination of experience.
• 3+ years of progressive HR experience supporting high volume business unit
Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate and influence at various organizational levels.
• Basic understanding of HR principles or practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:
• PHR or SHRM-CP is a plus

Salary Range:
$72000.00 To $85000.00 / year

The compensation range describes the typical minimum or maximum base pay range for this position. The actual compensation offer is determined based on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location.
