Job Summary

 

The North America (NA) Campaign Marketing Director will lead the development and oversee the execution of marketing campaigns that engage and resonate with consumers across the U.S. and Canada driving positive business results for the brand and the Harley-Davidson business. This role will be pivotal in shaping regional NA campaign marketing strategies and approach that aligns to the overall brand vision and objectives set by Global Marketing and delivers a significant impact across our business. 

 

This role requires a deep understanding of 360-degree consumer marketing plan development, audience segmentation, consumer engagement strategies, and data-driven optimization. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams within NA Marketing, Global Marketing, Commercial Sales, Harley-Davidson Financial Services and Digital teams. This role requires an impactful leader focused on empowering the NA Campaign Team to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.  

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Lead and develop a team of Campaign, Media, and Performance Marketers, fostering a collaborative culture focused on professional growth, high performance, and measurable business impact. 
  • Oversee the cross-functional development of 360-degree consumer marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment across various channels, including advertising, digital marketing, retail/dealer marketing, email, social media, PR, influencer marketing, H-D Membership and consumer activations. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within and beyond Marketing to ensure seamless integration of consumer and retail campaign plans, with a focus on brand initiatives, product launches, and retail-driven activities. 
  • Develop and implement NA marketing campaigns that resonate emotionally with consumers, aiming to increase brand awareness, drive foot traffic to dealer locations, and enhance engagement with digital retail channels. 
  • Leverage expertise and data insights to make informed decisions, partnering with internal teams and external agencies for effective execution of marketing plans. 
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance, budget adherence, and business outcomes, with a continuous focus on optimizing current and future strategies. Share results across all levels, including executive leadership. 
  • Manage a high volume of campaigns and initiatives with diligence, urgency, and flexibility, adapting plans as needed based on market conditions or business direction. 
Key Competencies and Skills

 

  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire, lead, and manage a diverse marketing team. 
  • Proven track record of leading successful multi-channel consumer marketing campaigns that drive measurable business growth. 
  • Strong understanding of traditional and digital marketing channels including paid, owned and earned media and customer segmentation/targeting.  
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to develop and execute effective strategies and measure business results. 
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with ability to oversee and execute multiple campaigns at the same time across the year. 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills especially related to sharing data and performance measurement. 
  • Highly collaborative and proven track record of building strong working relationships with cross-functional teams and partners to achieve business goals together. 
Experience & Education Requirements

 

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field required.  
  • Proven track record of driving successful marketing campaigns and media efforts. 
  • Experience in the motorcycle, automotive, premium goods or related industries utilizing a dealer network, preferred.  
  • Proficiency with marketing performance and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM software preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of emerging marketing trends and technologies preferred.

The pay range shown represents the national average pay range for this role. Your pay may be more or less than the stated range and is dependent on your geographic location and level of experience.
