Job description

Position Summary: 

This position assists the President of NDC Vaccine Buying Groups in ensuring growth and profitability for NDC’s Vaccine Buying Groups. Ensure the overall growth of all Vaccine Buying Group entities while developing and executing strategies and tactics to support members and manufacturers needs. Core responsibilities include but are not limited to: grow organic membership; increase contract utilization amongst current members; develop and execute member solutions; develop and execute manufacturer solutions; support increase in immunization rates amongst members; develop and execute vaccine launch programs that support members and manufacturers; work with internal key stakeholders/functions (i.e. Finance, Marketing). Work with President to ensure processes and systems are in place to execute daily functions of the business, collaborate on the strategical development of annual plans to increase business and profitability.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Grow organic membership

  • Grow contract utilization amongst existing members (share of wallet)

  • Develop, execute, and utilize a contract optimization tool that helps current and potential members to maximize their on-invoice savings

  • Develop, execute, and utilize a vaccine reimbursement tool for current members to utilize

  • Work with manufacturers to develop plans to support their annual strategic initiatives, including but not limited to, increasing immunization rates within current membership

  • Work with manufacturers to develop and execute vaccine launch plans for new vaccines in the market and utilizing NDC Vaccine Buying Groups as a part of the plan for their respective launches

  • Perform a meaningful role in long-term planning and establishment of initiatives aimed at operational efficiency and distinction

  • Organizing the budget of the company in collaboration with the President

  • Computation of completed units of service for ancillary product sales outside of vaccines

  • Develop, analyze, and monitor member satisfaction objectives

  • Evaluate, analyze, and report on member related statistics and data. Communicate, collaborate, and coordinate business operational efficiencies for NDC Vaccine Buying Groups with NDC alongside the President

  • Support the team in the development of the annual operating plan

  • Attend company meetings as required

  • All other duties as assigned
