As a Senior Technical Consultant, you will utilize your extensive knowledge and experience to design, develop and deploy solutions utilizing network technologies. You will work with a collaborative team leading, mentoring, and ensuring development efforts are well documented and delivered with quality. You will work with customer service owners, process owners and various service delivery groups and participate in demos and meetings in a professional and courteous manner. The Senior Technical Consultant is a highly experienced subject matter expert on network technologies with strong experience designing, developing, and deploying integrations with external third-party tools. 

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Possess a strong understanding of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and IPsec for secure and efficient network communications.
  • Demonstrate expert-level knowledge of networking technologies, WAN communications, and security concepts, including TCP/IP, QoS, MPLS, and IPSec.
  • Participate in the deployment of complex solutions, create written deliverables, and conduct client workshops
  • Ability to communicate and execute architecture strategy & approach in clear, concise, and understandable terms to client senior management and other client stakeholders
  • Ability to implement design architecture objectives that align with client demand & business goals
  • Receptive listening skills, with the ability to present ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Excellent situational leadership and timely decision-making skills
  • Passionate about successful customer outcomes
  • Ability to work effectively within all levels of an organization (internally & externally)
  • Ability to work both individually and in a team environment

  • Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of networking experience in enterprise environments, with focus on SD WAN technologies
  • Deep hands-on technical SD-WAN knowledge and expertise in: Palo Prisma (and native) and Fortinet SD-WAN. Silverpeak, Cisco Viptela, Versa, or Velocloud a plus.   
  • Deep expertise in WAN, data center, enterprise architectures
  • Strong sense of ownership, problem solver, sense of urgency and ability to be proactive in resolving challenges
  • Cisco certification: CCNP or CCIE (or industry equivalent certifications)
  • Advanced understanding of wireless design and implementations. Cisco or Aruba preferred.
  • Strong presentation skills. Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to communicate with senior leadership.
  • Strong project and situational awareness. Take ownership, leading projects to successful outcomes for our customers, on budget.
  • Strong attention to detail, self-starter, desire to be challenged.
  • Communication is critical! Strong internal and external communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Identify new customer opportunities inside of the practice and engage pre-sales to begin new campaigns within the practice.
  • Able to communicate beyond tactics and technology to help customer leadership set strategic direction.
  • Contribute to development of innovative and high impact solutions for complex customer programs.
  • Provide an outstanding customer experience!
  • Hours are based upon US customers, alongside US after-hours implementations, including weekends.
