Job Summary
We seek an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our quality assurance team. In this role, you’ll lead quality initiatives and leverage your automation expertise to build a robust suite of tests, ensuring our software meets the highest standards. You will focus on automated testing tools like Appium, Cucumber, and BrowserStack, and develop frameworks that enhance testing coverage and reliability across functional and non-functional software aspects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure product quality.
• Develop and maintain a robust suite of automated tests, focusing on Appium and Cucumber frameworks, to drive continuous quality improvement.
• Perform regression testing, including automation using Appium and BrowserStack.
• Identify, report, and document defects, errors, and issues promptly using appropriate tools.
• Enhance testing coverage and reliability across functional and non-functional aspects of the software through expert automation practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products on schedule.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks with a primary focus on Appium.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in automation testing, especially in Appium and related frameworks.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated API testing seamlessly, writing and executing scripts using tools like Postman, K6, JMeter, and Artillery.
• Conduct performance testing to ensure API scalability and reliability, validating endpoints, HTTP methods, and status codes.
• Conduct sanity tests to verify that basic app functionality remains intact after changes or fixes.
• Review and confirm issue tickets to ensure errors are clearly described and fixed, approving releases based on exploratory testing results.
• Develop a test plan to identify and prioritize testing of critical app modules.

Requirements

• Experience: 4+ years in software testing and quality assurance, with a strong emphasis on automation testing using Appium.
• Primary Tools: Appium, WebDriverIO, TypeScript, Cucumber, BrowserStack, Allure Report
• Programming Languages: JavaScript, TypeScript
• API Testing Tools: Postman, K6, JMeter, Artillery
• Automation Skills: Experience writing and maintaining automation scripts using Appium, WebdriverIO, and Cucumber.
• Tools Knowledge: Familiarity with BrowserStack and Allure Report.
• Methodologies: Knowledge of software development life cycles and software testing methodologies.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Language: Advanced English proficiency.
• Availability: Ability to work in the PST time zone.
