About the Role 

You will engage customers in law firms in a territory creating preference and active users of our products. You will assess customer needs, develop and execute firm-specific business plans, and educate customers on our solutions. You will also partner internally to maximize contract renewals by ensuring the customer is receiving value from our products. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Using Consultative Sales to increase active users
  • Communicating credibly with law firms to understand their challenges and improve their business in innovative ways 
  • Delivering specialized customer presentations that communicate our value proposition and competitive differentiators to create new active users 
  • Listening to law firm customers, responding with product solutions and research paths to improve their work-life balance 
  • Developing strategic account plans, recognizing sales opportunities, targeting specific sales activities, and analyzing competitive threats 
  • Partnering with law firm client managers to overcome customer challenges and position them to close significant opportunities 
  • Executing marketing strategies aimed at positioning LexisNexis as the higher-caliber source for meeting the needs of law firm customers 

 

Requirements 

  • Have a Juris Doctorate 
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Prior sales experience preferred
  • Demonstrate experience developing and executing on account plans and coordinating key stakeholders to positively impact clients 
  • Able to work as part of a team, accomplishing mutual team goals 
  • Demonstrate outstanding networking capabilities and exhibit a professional demeanor, business maturity, and technical knowledge 
  • Able to work solo and own and manage a territory

Salary Range

OTE: $90,000= ($78,000 base salary plus a target commission of $12,200 per year)

The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for California:$79,100.00 - $131,900.00
