Job Role and Responsibilities:

• Design and construct a robust automation suite using cutting-edge frameworks.
• Develop and execute detailed, comprehensive test plans and test cases with or without the automation framework.
• Identify, document, and track bugs with precision and thoroughness.
• Collaborate closely with the scrum team, contributing to planning, estimating, and verifying user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Integrate the automation framework seamlessly with CI/CD systems for efficient testing processes for e.g., Copado/ Acquia Deployments tools.
• Using Coordinate effectively with internal teams such as developers and product managers to ensure alignment on testing objectives.
• Cultivate expertise in our products, understanding their functionalities and nuances, and advocating for a positive user experience.
• Contribute insights to determine the testability of product designs, ensuring robust testing coverage.

Basic Qualifications:

• Computer Science and/ or Science-based bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of experience qualifying high-volume, scalable software solutions and API’s.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in automation testing.
• Experience working in an agile/scrum environment.
• Excellent working knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems
• Excellent understanding of Quality Assurance life cycle, methodologies, and best practices
• Excellent knowledge in test case management and bug tracking systems such as Jira & Zephyr
• Experience in transforming manual test cases into automated test cases
• Experience / Familiar in one of the automation test frameworks, Coded UI, Appium, Selenium, Cucumber, PyTest, Robot Framework etc.
• Experience in test documentation, defect analysis, tracking and reporting
• Experience with either TDD/BDD is essential.
• Experience with UI/API testing
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Passion for quality, creating new solutions and change
• Strong emphasis on learning quickly and staying current with new technologies
• Self-motivated, independent thinker with excellent troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work within a multi-site, multicultural team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Playwright or any relevant tools.
• Experience in Life Sciences or Healthcare is a plus
• Experience with unit test frameworks such as a Unit, Jasmine, Karma, Protractor.
• Experience testing systems at a large scale (Performance, Stress, Load testing etc.)
• Experience working with Jenkins, Chef scripts to run automation suites.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and Acquia Cloud Drupal platforms is highly advantageous.
