Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Process Engineering Manager PE FA Reliability located in Guadalajara, North.

Reporting to the Director, Operations Engineering, Process Engineering Manager PE FA Reliability role will be responsible for leading and manage reliability testing and failure analysis to driving continuous improvements in manufacturing processes and product reliability, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve complex product issues, and managing data analysis to support product design improvements.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Leads and coordinates engineering teams in the design and implementation of failure analysis methods, reliability testing protocols, and development of test control apparatus, systems, and software to assess product performance, longevity, and failure modes.
  • Manages advanced reliability testing including Acrometrix testing techniques and methodologies for assessing product reliability under stress conditions, accelerating life testing, and conducting environmental stress screening (ESS) tests.
  • Leads failure analysis efforts using advanced methods such as SEM/EDX/CSAM to investigate root causes of failures, identifying critical issues related to materials, components, and design.
  • Develops and integrates Closed Loop testing systems that capture real-time product performance data, ensuring feedback is directly integrated into design improvements and manufacturing process adjustments.
  • Oversees the development, procurement, installation, and calibration of testing instruments and equipment, ensuring all testing devices align with reliability standards and provide accurate, actionable data.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams (scientific, engineering, and technical) to resolve complex issues related to product/system malfunctions, incomplete data, or failure analysis, ensuring timely resolution of testing problems and continuous product improvement.
  • Develops or integrates software and hardware tools for reliability testing, leveraging these resources to conduct thorough assessments of product performance and identify potential failure points.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • BA/BS/MBA or equivalent work experience
  • Proven expertise in reliability testing and failure analysis (Advanced FA), including advanced techniques for failure root cause identification and resolution.
  • Strong experience in implementing root cause analysis methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of reliability testing methodologies, including stress testing, accelerated life testing, and environmental testing.
  • Familiarity with Acrometrix testing techniques.
  • Advanced English level
  • Green Belt / Black Belt Certification
