What is the PMO Team responsible for?

The PMO supports the Franklin Templeton enterprise (i.e., Sales, Marketing, Service and Operations, Investment Management, Back Office Operations, Infrastructure Services, Investment Management, etc.) in delivering capabilities to achieve the organization’s strategic vision.

What are the ongoing responsibilities of an FTI Technical Project Manager?

The FTT PMO seeks a dynamic Technical Project Manager to lead high impact projects for Franklin Templeton, working on strategic projects which generally involve multiple business units or the entire enterprise, with moderate to high risk and complexity. In line with our strategic direction, a successful candidate is well-versed in Agile techniques and exhibits an agility mindset.

  • Acts as the single point of accountability to plan, direct, and coordinate large-scale, enterprise-wide projects ensuring goals and objectives are accomplished successfully, meeting customer/business needs
  • As a part of this global team, the Technical Project Manager manages multiple projects of various size and scope, working with stakeholders from technology and various lines of business to achieve quality results
  • Manages the implementation of projects for the enterprise from setting up and directing project schedules, iterations, and budgets to monitoring initiatives through delivery or completion
  • Participates in solution-delivery continuous improvement activities and communities of practice to address ongoing needs for the project professional community
  • Influences and encourages programs to focus on rapid value delivery, leveraging agile, iterative development practices and agility techniques 
  • Appropriately tailors communication to target audience, ranging from team discussions to executives, in a culturally-elevant style
  • Exhibits FTT’s core brand behaviors of being outcome-oriented, accountable, empowered, growth-minded, and strategic

What ideal qualifications, skills and experience would help someone to be successful?
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Min 5-8 years related technology project management experience
  • Agile certification – Certified Disciplined Agilist or Practitioner or Scrum certifications
  • Practical Agile delivery experience
  • Experience working in a large-scale multi-national firm essential; Financial Services industry a plus

We expect the salary for this position to range between $105,000 and $143,000.
