About Us

At HubSpot, the Data Visualization group empowers CRM customers to analyze, visualize, and operate on their data effectively. The Index Page Visualization team is responsible for developing key visualizations (e.g., tables, Gantt charts, galleries) that help our customers gain insights into their data.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer II, Frontend, to join our Index Page Visualizations team. In this role, you will collaborate with Product Managers (PM) and UX designers to deliver innovative visualization solutions that enhance customer understanding of their data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a robust library of visualization components using React and TypeScript.
  • Collaborate with PM and UX designers to identify and implement solutions that address customer challenges.
  • Work closely with fellow frontend developers to facilitate the integration of visualizations into HubSpot products.
  • Write clean, modular, and testable code, ensuring comprehensive documentation for maintainability.
  • Continuously enhance and optimize our products based on user and stakeholder feedback.
  • Stay informed about the latest frontend technologies, trends, and best practices, and incorporate them into our projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • A strong, collaborative senior engineer with a passion for frontend development.
  • Experience in building table or data grid visualization components is a significant advantage.
  • A problem-solver who prefers leveraging technology over processes to fix issues.
  • Proven ability to tackle complex technical challenges and analyze trade-offs, demonstrating deep empathy for the developers you collaborate with.
  • Visionary thinking with the ability to see beyond current capabilities, focusing on how to innovate and improve our offerings.
