 Principal Track Design  Engineers – Rail & Transit – Virtual Based - USA

Opportunity:

Parsons is now hiring for highly  experienced Principal  Track Design Engineers to support our nationwide transit and high-speed rail projects.

Parsons is providing engineering and design services for multiple projects across north America including projects in Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Toronto, New York, Baltimore, and Honolulu ! The Parsons teams are full-service design, construction, and technology integration designers that utilize full 3D models in the design process. Parsons provides innovative, sustainable solutions that reduce traffic congestion and improve air quality, while helping commuters get to their destinations safely and reliably.

 This role can be virtually based anywhere in the USA ! This is a fully remote working opportunity for experienced professionals supporting various projects in around the USA and Hawaii !

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the track alignment design utilizing AutoCAD Civil3D or MicroStation ORD.
  • Transit design experience consists of mainline track alignment and yards and limited experience with trackwork construction and special trackwork.
  • Ability to work as part of a virtual design team.

Requirements :

A 4 year Degree in Engineering, and at least 10  years or more with track design engineering for large scale rail transit systems.

Experience with light or heavy rail track alignment systems.

Salary Range: 

$96,400.00 - $168,700.00
