Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Graphic Design Manager to join the Building Control Systems Wattstopper Team. This is a hybrid or remote position reporting to Carlsbad, CA.

 

What Will You Do?

  • Lead the design process from concept development to final production, guiding the team through project creative to develop innovative and visually appealing solutions that enhance e customer experience.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to collaboratively define design themes and ensure the cohesive execution of campaign assets.
  • Develop a strong understanding of brand guidelines to ensure all design outputs are aligned with the company's brand standards & contribute a fresh perspective and lead options for achieving project objectives within guidelines.
  • Proven expertise in design and project management for content creation including, print and digital collateral, motion graphics, product renderings, videography, lifestyle imagery and illustrations.
  • Manages creative vendor relationships, including obtaining quotes, providing clear project direction, and overseeing revisions to ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes.
  • Lead tradeshow strategy, along with development of concepts and themes, promotional merchandising displays and materials. While aligning with booth production planning on layouts artwork and details to support vendors as required.
  • Strong understanding of UX and UI principals, supporting digital team with web page design concepts, graphics, and product images. Assist in planning future website improvements from a creative perspective.
  • Assist with video development with set ideas & shot refinement as needed. Perform other similar and related duties as required.
  • Create presentation materials for internal and external customers, including PowerPoint presentations.
  • Possesses strong design eye for detail and composition and messaging.
  • Maintains strong awareness of the competitive landscape, while constantly searching for new creative ideas and inspiration.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Required Skills

 

Education:

  • BFA/BA in Graphic Design, Communication Arts or similar or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:

  • Minimum 7-10 year’s experience working in graphic design related field. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, organize, and accomplish a diversified workload. Must be highly collaborative and able to work in a team-based environment.

Qualifications:

  • Strong computer skills, proficient with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software, e-mail, and meeting management software. Ability to use internet and web-based resources efficiently and effectively. Must have a strong understanding of web and digital media applications. Mastery of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Microsoft PowerPoint, layout concepts & color theory.
  • Proficient in After Effects, Microsoft Excel, and Word. Working knowledge of Premiere Pro, 3D rendering and CAD software. Requires strong organizational and time management skills, close attention to detail and be able to effectively handle multiple priorities. Must be able to execute graphics deliverables quickly and efficiently. Able to evaluate situations, identify options and implement effective reports, presentations, and business correspondence.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills and be able to communicate brand strategies effectively across development teams and all levels of the organization. Must be an effective listener, able to maintain focus extract necessary information and validate understanding of the information.
  • Must possess excellent project management skills, including demonstrated ability to develop and manage to a project plan, establish priorities, work to deadlines, and control a number of projects at various stages of work.

Salary Range: $110,000-$135,000/annually
