Job description

Feel good about where you work and what you do!

We are Aspire Living & Learning, a non-profit human services agency making a meaningful difference in the lives of adults and children with autism and other disabilities.

Aspire Living & Learning is excited to offer a unique opportunity for an Annual Fund Manager to take our annual fundraising efforts to the next level, creating lasting impact for neurodiverse children and adults. In this pivotal role, you’ll have the chance to design and execute direct mail, digital fundraising, and community giving strategies that generate engagement and revenue to fuel our mission. And, you’ll formalize the systems and processes that support a growing program. We’re seeking someone with solid experience who knows their craft, but who’s also ready to roll up their sleeves and help shape the future of our growing organization. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and are eager to make an impact, this is the role for you.

This is a remote position with a salary range of $70-75k. While the role is remote, the ideal candidate will be located within driving distance of one of our offices in VT, CT, MA, MD, or NH, to maintain a close connection to our regional teams and be available for onsite meetings with notice.

What You’ll Love About This Role:

  • Impact-Driven Work: Your creative strategies will directly impact the lives of neurodiverse children and adults and help fuel Aspire’s impact across five states.
  • Creative Freedom: You’re empowered to improve upon existing fundraising activities and try out new ideas. Enjoy the combination of strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
  • Growth Potential: Help shape the future of Aspire’s philanthropy program from the ground up, offering exciting career development opportunities as we identify areas for growth and expand our team.
  • Collaboration & Support: Join a small and growing philanthropy team that works closely with established teams in finance, marketing, and administration, and be resourced to make your vision a reality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute compelling mail and digital fundraising campaigns to grow Aspire’s community of supporters.
  • Oversee donor data management and establish best practices for donor service.
  • Collaborate with frontline colleagues to bolster community engagement and local support.
  • Manage staff giving initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:

  • At least 4 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, with a proven track record in direct response or annual fundraising.
  • Experience with fundraising CRMs (Salesforce preferred) and digital fundraising platforms.
  • A self-starter with a creative, problem-solving mindset and strong project management and writing skills.
  • Someone driven by relationships and committed to ethical, impactful fundraising.

Why Aspire?
Aspire is an organization dedicated to making a tangible difference. We are actively investing in philanthropic fundraising to generate both awareness and flexible revenue that will augment strong government funding. You’ll have the chance to be part of something new and exciting, helping us build a culture of philanthropy and innovation while supporting our mission of serving neurodiverse individuals.

If you’re ready to take the reins and help us grow, we want to hear from you!

Aspire Living & Learning believes it must play an active role in creating a community of employees that is diverse, inclusive and equitable. Our work benefits greatly from the contributions of people of color, people from working class backgrounds, women, LGBTQ people, and individuals with disabilities. Hence, we strongly encourage applications from people with these identities or who are members of other marginalized communities
