PrizePicks is looking to hire an Internal Communications Specialist to join our HR & Communications Teams and work closely with leadership to craft messages, develop internal communication plans and ensure effective information delivery. This role is crucial in shaping our culture and engagement through impactful communication.

What you’ll do:
  • Help keep employees informed and drive growth by developing and executing internal communications strategies for various initiatives across the organization.
  • Actively collaborate across teams to create materials that educate and inspire our diverse employee population.
  • Create, edit and distribute communications materials, aligned with brand and messaging guidelines, across the organization’s multi-channel landscape.
  • Support and oversee the implementation and adoption of an Intranet - one source of information for employee resources.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization through excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Take initiative and personal accountability to meet deadlines and deliverables.
  • Be the main point of contact for office relocation communications.
 
What you have:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in internal communications / corporate communications including the use of social media channels to support internal talent goals and initiatives.
  • Excellent writer with highly strategic approach to messaging, rollout timing and communication channels.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and takes initiative in project leadership.
  • Responsible for a high volume of work while meeting tight deadlines with hyper attention to detail.
  • The ability to move projects forward in a complex environment within a timely manner.
  • Great collaborator and confident in garnering commitment and cooperation from others at all levels.
  • Experience working with senior leaders and the ability to exercise discretion and good judgment when dealing with sensitive topics.
  • Be a self-starter, excellent work ethic, positive, energetic attitude
