Position Summary:
We are currently recruiting for a Casualty Claims Adjustment to join our team in Vancouver, BC. The position location is flexible, and we can offer in-office, hybrid or fully remote working arrangements. The successful candidate will evaluate claims through loss investigation and negotiate settlements in accordance with provincial licensing requirements, while maintaining adequate production levels and customer relationships.
The salary range for this role is from 47k-71k annually.
Responsibilities:
- Investigation, collection, and analysis of claims information
- Accurate recording, reporting and presentation of files
- Examines policies and settles claims while maintaining claims costs and abiding by provincial licensing regulations
- Maintenance of accurate billing, and time and expense records
- Work with managers to maintain client relations
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of technical experience in handling liability work including bodily injury
- Post-Secondary education in an insurance related field will be considered an asset
- Independent Adjusting Lisence is required
- CIP Designation or working towards is required
- Experience in road adjusting including the investigation and detailed reporting of multi-line claims
- Strong computer and reporting skills including Office 365
- A team player with outstanding customer service skills
