Job description

We’re excited to announce a bold new expansion within the Directive family: the launch of a specialized consultancy focused exclusively on social media advertising. This new venture will offer a distinct identity within our established brand, built to push the boundaries of social media marketing for B2B clients. This agency will be a hub for innovative strategies, helping clients leverage the full power of LinkedIn to reach, engage, and convert their target audiences. If you're ready to be part of something bold and transformational, this is the role for you!

We have experienced significant growth over the last few years and have stayed true to our culture, the best idea wins. We’re future-focused and are looking for the right Associate Director of Strategic Accounts with a growth mindset to join our evolving teams!

About The Role:

We have a mature sales process that balances a high-volume inbound with 100k+ ACVs. We follow the principles of Winning By Design, but have innovated to elevate our close rates and reflect the strategic differences in a services business vs tech.

In this role, you would own the intro call stage for organizations. Your goal is to not only qualify prospects; but also, excite them about the opportunity to work with Directive + our methodology, Customer Generation.

Your goals and compensation will be based on closed won bookings. You win when your AEs win. We truly embrace a team mentality and we all win together.

A core opportunity for this position is to develop into an AE, as this bold venture has forecasted explosive growth. We think this will give whomever we hire a higher chance of being successful and will allow them to properly learn our services + build custom sales decks for a truly consultative selling AE role.

We also do a full day of outbound weekly as a team (AE’s included) and will expect you to be an impactful contributor to these moments.

Lastly, we have very serious onboarding requirements and expect you to become an expert in marketing. You will need to understand our deliverable in great detail and will need to prove that you can do the actual work of a strategist. Our top AE’s close over 40% of their deals because they are true subject matter experts in their craft. Our onboarding is designed to show proficiency in all our deliverables.

You will only be successful in this role if you are equally strong with sales as you are at performance marketing.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Own the outcome of our pipeline

  • Provide exceptional notes to AEs

  • Be accurate in your BANT and curious in how to innovate and improve

  • Attend 10+ conferences + private events annually

  • Handle intro calls daily

  • Develop deep technical knowledge of Paid Media, Design and Video, with an emphasis on Social Media, for B2B companies

  • Skilled at having a large impact in a very specific role

  • Creative spark for marketing + desire for understanding of business & finance

  • Improve processes within a fast growing sales environment

What You Offer:

  • 2+ years of experience in SDR/AE role

  • BONUS: 2+ years of experience in performance marketing, especially social media

  • BONUS: 2+ years of experience in B2B or Agency with ACV 100k+

  • Brilliant strategist and a truly T-shaped marketer

  • Sophisticated professional who understands finance, buying centers, enterprise selling, events, and working alongside top AEs

Benefits:

  • 🙏  Medical, dental, vision plans, disability, and life insurance coverage for you and your family that fit your lifestyle
