Job description

GEN (NASDAQ: GEN) is a global company dedicated to powering Digital Freedom through its trusted Cyber Safety brands, Norton, Avast, LifeLock, Avira, AVG, ReputationDefender and CCleaner. There’s a new generation, and it’s not Gen X, Y, or Z. It’s Gen D: Generation Digital. Our family of consumer brands is rooted in providing safety for the first digital generations. Now, Gen empowers people to live their digital lives safely, privately, and confidently today and for generations to come. We bring award-winning products and services in cybersecurity, online privacy, and identity protection to more than 500 million users in more than 150 countries. Gen has dual headquarters in Tempe, Arizona (USA) and Prague, Czech Republic.

About the Role:

With an ever-widening portfolio of brands under the Gen banner we now seek a high energy, ambitious and competitive Territory Manager, to lead our sales team and business in Germany. Th

This is an exciting opportunity to develop new strategic partnerships in consumer cyber safety across Germany and will involve developing new channels for emerging categories to sell through strategic accounts as well as key decision making in the current channel and distribution landscape.

Consumer cyber safety has evolved beyond device protection, and we see growth opportunities associated with privacy, identity & reputation. Finding the right partners to seize this market leading opportunity is core to this role.

Working with new and existing partners to derive value from their customer base, or potentially help mitigate risk associated with cybercrime, the Territory Manager will set the strategic direction and execute on it with their team.

This is a unique opportunity to get creative in existing channels and to build new GTM models to find the right partners and unlock the growth potential. You will own these opportunities from start to finish and work with internal teams to onboard & enable these new partnerships as well as servicing the existing ones.

Whilst developing the careers and potential of several direct reports, this is also a matrix role which leads in collaborating with Sales, Field Marketing, Product and Operational teams to find the right solutions to grow revenue and market share. You will work alongside these teams to implement and execute measurable growth strategies that result in making our products the first choice of a range of customers. Your ability to influence, cajole and demand from your peers is as important as your pre-existing channel relationships. A focus onto staff development and upskilling will also be critical to your success.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing strategic plans to manage and grow the German total businesses
  • Opening doors, building relationships, and driving new business development across the portfolio of brands
  • Managing a team of Partner success managers and potentially expanding over business growth
  • Prospecting major accounts & building a pipeline
  • Evaluating business performance by analysing and interpreting data and metrics for proper decision making
  • Create, develop, and maintain relationships with key decision makers, with a focus on strategic, high-level executive contacts.
  • Building strong, trusting relationships with current and new partners, channels, and internal teams
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement and proposing new tools and processes
  • Forecasting and accurate reporting of sales performance
  • End to end management of partner accounts
  • Ensuring all teams achieve their objectives and act as a coach and the ultimate ambassador of our culture
  • Assist with product roadmap development to ensure we meet partner & market needs.
  • Contribute to and develop a trusted position within the Europe senior leadership team.
  • National spokesperson for the brand in Germany
