Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor with a focus on Structural & Architectural projects to join our team immediately. This is a work-from-home opportunity. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in the construction and engineering industry and be proficient in Planswift and Bluebeam for measurements, cost estimation, and project management. Key Responsibilities:

Conduct quantity take-offs and cost estimation for structural and architectural components of construction projects, including foundations, steel works, walls, roofing, and other architectural features.
Utilize Planswift and Bluebeam to accurately perform measurement and costing based on construction drawings.
Review and analyze structural and architectural drawings to prepare comprehensive cost breakdowns and material requirements.
Collaborate with project managers and design teams to ensure accurate project cost control and monitoring.
Prepare and submit detailed cost reports, including variance analysis, and make recommendations for cost savings.
Provide technical advice and support for structural and architectural matters to ensure the project stays on track and within budget.
Ensure that all work complies with construction industry standards, building codes, and regulations.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in structural and architectural projects within the construction and engineering industry.
Proficiency in Planswift and Bluebeam for take-offs, measurements, and cost estimation.
Strong understanding of structural and architectural construction processes and terminology.
Ability to interpret complex structural and architectural drawings and provide accurate cost estimates.
High attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a remote setting.
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
