When you work as an Inside Business Development Representative at KCAS, you get to further our mission by being part of a team that is responsible for the management of leads generated by marketing prior to hand off to the field sales team. You will be responsible for lead follow-up, lead generation, prospecting, and management of all tasks carried out in this role. In this position, you will be able to work a hybrid of onsite/remote work.
In this role, we will rely on you to:Develop new business by responding to cold calls, web-inquiries, direct phone calls, and e-mails from prospective clientsIdentify sales opportunities consistent with our operational capabilities and capacity through phone calls and e-mailsQualify and secure leadsFollow-up on opportunities until closureTransfer new accounts and projects to other teams within Client Services, as appropriateOrganize client visits and auditsProvide support to and work as a team with external Business DevelopmentWork with the Contracts/Client Services team to generate quotationsEnter opportunity information into the CRM softwareWork with Marketing to qualify leads from all marketing efforts (E-blasts, blogs, webinars, etc.) and follow up as appropriateHand-off leads when appropriate to the external Business Development teamCoordinate client visits to the facility in conjunction with external Business Development teamTo qualify specifically for this role, you will have:Bachelor’s degree preferred2 years of industry-related experience Detail oriented to follow-through with tasks and initiatives.Excellent communication skills (oral and written), with the ability to be a quick thinker and communicatorAbility to complete tasks and be creative to find solutionsAbility to multi-task and handle many projects at onceExceptional organizational skillsA polished, professional style and a high-level of enthusiasm, and productivity(Please note this is a representative summary of responsibilities, not a comprehensive or exclusive list of the duties to be performed in any position.
