Senior Curriculum Writer (Remote)

As a Remote Senior Curriculum Writer at Write Edge, you will be at the forefront of developing engaging and comprehensive lesson plans that align with our curriculum vision. You’ll collaborate with team members and contribute to enhancing our English and Writing programmes. This position offers the flexibility of remote work while allowing you to contribute meaningfully to students’ success and the growth of our curriculum.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and continuous improvement of English and Writing curriculum for Primary and Secondary levels.
• Conduct comprehensive research to ensure the curriculum is aligned with national educational standards and market needs.
• Analyse student performance metrics to adjust curriculum as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers and junior curriculum writers to implement and refine the curriculum.
• Contribute to the development of training programs for teachers to effectively deliver the new curriculum in Teacher Huddles
• Engage in educational projects that contribute to the organisational goals and curriculum effectiveness.

Outcome

• Contribute to the improvement of student performance in English and Writing subjects through high-quality curriculum materials.
• Facilitate teacher training sessions to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum.
• Implement curriculum updates in a timely manner, ensuring alignment with educational trends and standards.
• Participate in special projects aimed at curriculum innovation and improvement.

Skills Required:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in curriculum writing or English education
• Strong expertise in English language and curriculum development
• High proficiency in online teaching and lesson plan creation
• Ability to meet deadlines with high-quality output
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Google Docs, Sheets, and MS Office
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills for remote work

Location(s): Fully remote
Commitment Period: 2-year Contract
Working Hours: Weekdays (1pm - 10pm), Weekends (8:30am - 6:30pm)
