The Cloud DevOps Engineer will work on both strategic projects and day-to-day operations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve and expand our cloud capabilities. This position requires strong technical expertise in cloud platforms, scripting, CI/CD pipelines, and a solid understanding of DevOps principles and best practices. The Cloud DevOps Engineer will be responsible for evaluating and implementing cloud-based solution architectures across AWS, Azure, OCI and GCP, and developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Python.

 

 

Job Responsibilities: 

 

Infrastructure Automation: 

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Python. 

 

Continuous Integration & Deployment: 

  • Develop, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and automated deployment of applications and infrastructure. 

 

Cloud Platform Management:

  • Implement, monitor, and manage resources on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, OCI or GCP. Manage permissions, security, and compliance within the cloud environment. 

 

System Monitoring & Performance Optimization: 

  • Use monitoring tools to analyze system performance and provide recommendations to improve efficiency, availability, and cost-effectiveness. 

 

Security & Compliance:

  • Implement security best practices and compliance standards, ensuring system integrity, patch management, and vulnerability remediation. 

 

Troubleshooting & Support:

  • Provide support for cloud-based applications and infrastructure, performing root cause analysis and resolving incidents efficiently. 

  

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with software developers, QA, security, and product teams to streamline. 

 

Documentation:

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud architecture, automation, and deployment processes to improve knowledge sharing and onboarding.                                                                                                    

 

 Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 

  

Experience:  

  • 3+ years in a DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering role with hands-on experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

  

Certifications:

 

One of the following: 

  • GCP, Azure, OCI or AWS Cloud certifications 
  • Security+ 
  • CISSP 
  • CCSP Certified Cloud Security Professional
