Metal Toad is an award-winning AWS Consulting Partner and AWS Managed Services provider company based in the USA. We help our customers with their cloud adoption by providing architecture, migration, optimization, machine learning, and even 24x7 support. We are a professional services firm providing services in software engineering and the cloud. We do Technical consulting, Programming & Quality Assurance, DevOps, Applications, UX, Product management, and Project management.


Metal Toad is a fully remote organization with all employees having the option to work from home. The candidate must be able to work between 8 AM and 5 PM Pacific Time (PST) from Monday through Friday.


Advanced to fluent proficiency in English is a must for our positions since it is the language we communicate at the company.


Job description 


The primary role of the Digital Designer is to work on UX and UI design efforts across Metal Toad's diverse and exciting client projects. This includes creating intuitive and user-friendly interfaces. Additionally, this role involves enhancing digital marketing assets and supporting sales enablement tools, along with other creative tasks as assigned.


The ideal candidate takes ownership and initiative of assigned tasks, thrives in change, is detail-oriented, and is comfortable working across shifting priorities and differing levels of ambiguity to find solutions. The candidate will be expected to prioritize workload and know when to ask for direction. 


Responsibilities 


Visual Design

  • Work under the manager's direction to develop creative concepts and high-quality designs that adhere to brand guidelines.
  • Design and produce various digital marketing assets, sales assets, collateral, and sales enablement tools.
  • Create infographics and presentation materials to simplify the communication of complex concepts.
  • Hit the ground running to design and update RFPs and proposals based on established templates and brand guidelines.
  • Design and update website, landing pages, and email campaigns on Hubspot.


Product Design


  • Design user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces for websites, applications, and other digital platforms, ensuring they align with the client's branding and meet user needs.
  • Develop wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to illustrate design concepts, user flows, and interaction patterns for client projects.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand user needs, preferences, and pain points, using this information to create effective design solutions.
  • Be open to feedback from clients and team members, refining and iterating on designs to ensure they meet project objectives and user expectations.
  • User data analysis

  • A design portfolio demonstrating high-quality design skills in digital marketing fields such as ebook layout development, one-sheets (promotional pages), and social media posts.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), including the ability to communicate complex concepts and data through images.
  • Thorough knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (mainly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop), Microsoft Office, and G Suite.

  • Basic knowledge of designing digital marketing assets, such as:
    • infographics, 
    • landing pages, 
    • email campaigns,

  • Familiarity with designing print collateral, such as:

    • one-sheets, 
    • business cards, 
    • and other graphics.
  • Interested in copywriting and proofreading for digital marketing assets.
  • Experience with Figma
  • Experience analyzing user data
