Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Process Engineering Manager located in Guadalajara, South Site.

The Process Engineering Manager role involves responsible for managing a team of process engineers working on improving process engineering capabilities to support a specific area of a manufacturing organization.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Manage a team of engineers and technicians to establish and maintain statistical process control systems.
  • Establish and improve process capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation.
  • Manage development projects that are designed to meet customer product specifications, delivery, and cost expectations.
  • Work with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured.
  • Improve throughput in constrained areas.
  • Develop, test, and implement new materials and processes for improved performance and/or lower cost and manage cost reduction efforts in assigned process areas.
  • Partner with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured.
  • Coordinate initiatives to increase throughput, reduce cost and improve performance in constrained areas.
  • Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering, mechatronics or related
  • Strong experience in Process Engineering
  • Acknowledge of automotive standards (IATF, PPAP, Core tools, APQP)
  • Solid knowledge in SMT
  • Experience in secondary processes (Wave soldering and conformal processes)
  • Leadership
  • Personnel administration
  • PLC Programming knowledge.
  • Strong risk mitigation strategies knowledge.
  • Control tools knowledge, such as: statistical process control (SPC)
  • NPI experience
  • Advanced English.
  • MS Office (Excel, PP).
  • Experience in High Volume & Low Volume
  • Core Tools

  • Teamwork
  • Green Belt/Black Belt certification is required.
