About this role

The Segment Category Manager, Indirect will manage approximately $200 in materials. This position will drive structure and efficiency in Indirect Purchases throughout the global footprint of our offices and factories.

This position can be located anywhere in the United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight for indirect procurement activities and savings opportunities. Operational and spend analysis, development and execution of annual sourcing strategies, vendor negotiations, performance management & operational support.

  • Develops longer-term strategies to address vendor issues and business process outsourcing opportunities.

  • Partner with digital team on automation solutions to manage indirect procurement. Analyzes suppliers' operations to determine factors that affect prices and lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules.

  • Responsible for overall relationship and escalations for key vendor accounts.

  • Leads sourcing process from RFQ to contract signature. Ensures supplier or vendor is performing to the designed requirements from delivery, quality and cost perspective.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 5+ years’ experience in sourcing and operations

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or professional certifications (CPM, CPSM, CIRM, CPIM)

  • Experience with strategic sourcing and lean tools

  • Digital dexterity and ability to leverage data

  • Strong knowledge of supply chain strategy (development and execution) and category specific experience

  • Independently driven problem solver with appetite to address complex challenges in a fast-moving environment

  • Proven track record of successful leadership, negotiation, and strategic communication

  • Strong business acumen and experience collaborating across various levels within a diverse, global organization
