The Transformation Delivery Director will be responsible for the execution of all technology Transformation projects for Armanino’s clients. The Transformation Delivery Director may lead teams consisting of clients, Armanino team members, contractors, and/or vendors. Typical projects may consist of multiple workstreams running in parallel or in sequence. You will use your depth of skills in project management, client management and facilitation to drive projects delivering results for our clients, while maintaining active involvement to ensure quality outcomes and compliance with Armanino methods/toolsets.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all projects as defined are delivered to meet or exceed client's quality standard and delivered at the right time 

  • Estimate and contribute to integrated project plans 

  • Establish project communication plans and ensuring key roles and responsibilities are in place 

  • Coordinate with customers to provide necessary project status and obtain customer feedback 

  • Participate on client assessment and roadmap engagements in addition to traditional project management activity where appropriate based on skills and availability 

  • Establish and manage relationships with key client executives, stakeholders and Armanino subject matter experts across practice 

  • Managing complex technology, management consulting, outsourcing, and/or process improvement projects 

  • Coordinating across practices and processes to manage scope, risk and issues 

  • Leverage use of knowledge management and learning from prior projects 

  • Lead project teams and facilitate communication and interaction among functional representatives, internal subject matter experts, and client executives 

  • Provide feedback on success of projects and assessment results to internal leadership, marketing and sales, practice leaders, etc. 

  • Lead clients and consultants to contribute to the evolution of deliverables and project artifacts 

  • Lead development of deliverables and tracking to integrated project plans 

  • Develop project deliverables to meet project objectives 

  • Track project against schedule, budget, phase objectives and provide reporting status to internal and client leadership on a regular basis 

  • Develop and implement recovery plans for off-schedule and unanticipated eventualities

  • Create, implement, improve, and maintain project management templates, methods, and delivery / quality standards for all Transformation projects

  • Work with Director of Operations to develop, scale, improve, and maintain PMO service offerings in alignment with Armanino’s Strategy & Transformation Go-To-Market approach

  • Onboard, mentor, and train more junior team members to ensure development of project management skills and compliance with Armanino quality standards

  • Meet or exceed utilization goals and ensure direct reports / junior team members do the same

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, MIS or related field or equivalent level of experience

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience. Previous experience in finance or with CRM, ERP, financial or enterprise solutions is a plus 

  • Previous experience within a consulting firm and/or client-facing role with proven team leadership experience 

  • Prior accountability for respective budget or client revenue 

  • Hands-on background in business analysis 

  • Client management experience with accountability for executive-level relationships 

  • Proven self-starter, results driven, highly motivated, high energy, with a proven track record of overachieving goals 

  • Demonstrated ability to excel within a cross-functional team environment to accurately manage and forecast sales activity 

  • Excellent communication skills, organizational, prioritization, time management skills and a commitment to integrity and professionalism
