Job description

Role
We are seeking passionate Frontend engineers with at least 8+ years of experience working in a team to deliver innovative software solutions that are scalable, secure, and easy to maintain. The ideal candidate thrives in team settings, is motivated by writing quality code and solving problems, and has an understanding of building intuitive and efficient user experiences.

Responsibilities
- Influence and own technical decisions for front end application design, automated testing and CI/CD strategy
- Investigate and recommend guidelines for use of internal and external frameworks and new technologies
- Hands on contribution to technical design/architecture, code, and overall team delivery
- Act as a technical lead for a team of engineers
- Mentor junior and senior engineers, particularly in terms of frontend technique
- Build and enhance web applications using SPA web frameworks such as React.
- Participate in full stack development, including enhancement of APIs and backend services
- Gain an understanding of business context, current system operations/functionality and proposed new requirements.
- Develop concise, articulate, and detailed documentation

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of software engineering experience
- Experience building UIs in React or other frameworks such as Next.js or Angular
- Expertise in build optimization and bundling using tools such as webpack
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
- Deep knowledge of patterns, antipatterns, best practices, and methodologies for building large scale software-as-a-service solutions

Desired Qualifications
- Experience building an application using a backend for frontend (BFF) architecture and/or lambda functions
- Experience programming in C# and .NET technologies
- Knowledge of Azure and/or AWS cloud infrastructure
- FinTech or Financial Services industry experience or closely related field (e.g. Real Estate, Payments, Legal)
- Experience at high-growth, venture-backed startups
