About the PUD Fleet Supervisor role:
As one of our trusted Fleet Supervisor's, you will be responsible for managing and executing the daily inbound and outbound delivery schedule for a fleet of vehicles and drivers (up to 40), whilst ensuring a high level of customer service is achieved along with the necessary legislative requirements.
Duties & responsibilities include (not limited to):
- Allocation of the fleet in the most cost-effective manner
- Coordinating the routing of loads to maximise the efficient use of equipment, subcontractors and labour
- Ensuring driver work schedules are in accordance with fatigue management regulations
- Providing planners with regular updates that may affect client delivery times in a timely manner
What you’ll bring to the PUD Fleet Supervisor role:
- At least 2+ years experience gained within a fleet leadership role
- Sound knowledge of PUD freight
- Experience with load planning, routing, and driving regulations
- Distribution and transport experience, with an ability to identify & remedy operational inefficiencies and service problems.
- Sound knowledge of site EBA and sub-contractor agreements
Hours, M-F/5am-1.30pm.
