Job Description:

As a Remote Systems Integrator, you will play a pivotal role in a high-priority, enterprise-level modernization project, collaborating with stakeholders to drive innovative and sustainable outcomes. You will support an essential modernization study aimed at advancing our customer’s strategic goals through effective technology and systems integration. You will work within a small, agile team to assess current systems, analyze policy implications, and design solutions that align with the customer’s future-state vision.

This position runs through February 1, 2025 and includes both remote work and two short-term on-site assignments in Jordan to facilitate critical project phases. 

Job Duties Include (but not limited to):

• Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions with diverse stakeholders to accurately capture needs and assess their feasibility in current and future-state environments.
• Conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the current technology landscape, identifying key gaps and developing actionable insights.
• Apply Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to uncover underlying issues within systems and recommend targeted improvements.
• Analyze policy considerations, customer priorities, and resource availability to provide tailored, strategic recommendations.
• Design and document systems architecture solutions to optimize integration across technologies, networks, and platforms.
• Focus on containerization and platform engineering best practices, with a strong understanding of Kubernetes to ensure modern, scalable solutions.
• Contribute to an enterprise-level modernization study, assessing the current state and proposing clear, achievable future-state goals.
• Perform project-related tasks both remotely and during scheduled site visits to Jordan, maintaining consistent communication with team members and stakeholders.
• Leverage interpersonal skills to foster strong relationships and maintain alignment among project stakeholders.
• Exercise independent judgment within a collaborative team to ensure successful project outcomes.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience in systems integration or systems architecture, particularly within technology modernization and enterprise-level studies.
• Analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex technology environments and make informed, strategic recommendations.
• Proficiency in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) with an understanding of intelligence processes, especially F3EAD (Find, Fix, Finish, Exploit, Analyze, Disseminate).
• Advanced understanding of platform engineering, systems architecture, containerization, and Kubernetes.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the proven ability to convey technical concepts clearly to a range of stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work effectively both independently and within a small team setting.
• Due to US Government Contract Requirements, only US Citizens are eligible for this role.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
